Youth Running
Fun. Speed. Endurance.

BCAC_XCLogo_M.png

After over a decade of success in endurance and field sports, the youth running division of BaseCamp Athletic Club was launched in 2023 as an opportunity for youth athletes in Hunterdon to have fun, increase speed and build endurance. In summer and early fall our athletes try their hand at x-country style running, while in the winter we progress to indoor training and place extra emphasis speed and strength. Our mission is to create a safe space for youth athletes to learn about the sport of running while improving their overall health and well-being, and prepare them for upcoming sports seasons and initiatives.

Athletes may choose to join the program on a monthly basis ($60 auto-renewed subscription) or via drop-in ($20) per session. Training sessions meet for 60 minutes and all athletes are required to sign up and book each session using the schedule below so coaches can plan appropriately for each session

Strength & Conditioning Coach

Stephen Villani

Having originally gone to school for Sports Communications to become a sports broadcaster, Stephen decided to take a step in a different direction. While working in the HVAC industry for a year, he worked to become a certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA). Always having a passion for sports and fitness, Stephen decided he wanted to make a bigger impact in people’s lives to help them achieve their fitness and personal goals.
